My quest to seek out people and ideas that inspire me<\/strong> and expand my horizons began as a teenager, and my passion for language and communication<\/strong> has been with me every step of the way. I have a Master\u2019s degree in Applied Linguistics and also spent time working as a simultaneous interpreter.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n\t This question has fascinated me for as long as I can remember as there are so many different thought and views on the topic. Early on in my career, I began working with this idea and became a lecturer at the Erasmus University College<\/strong>, where I taught students who were only a few years younger than me.<\/p>\n My age meant I didn\u2019t immediately exude authority, so I started to think about what appealed to my students, about how and why they learn<\/strong>. My approach worked. Over the years, I began providing training to companies. After in-house training as a communication trainer, I realised that this was where my talents\u00a0<\/strong>lie.<\/p>\n\t From the get-go, Geert\u2019s approach is based on inspiring \u201chands-on\u201d sessions designed to make people understand and tap into their own growth potential.
